Purrrrrr-fection
I have never lived without my family owning at least one cat. In all, we have had (Patches Berry Whiskers Tammy Emma Tommy Mitchell Max Sophie) 9 cats. The only 3 alive now are Emma, Mitchel, and Sophie.

This is my largest cat Mitchell.
Mitchell is 18 pounds. He is about 4 years old now. Mitchell has never bitten anyone out of anger or fear in his life. Being our biggest cat, he looks and feels a lot like a teddy bear. Unfortunately, Mitchell is not a big fan of being picked up. He likes to have his own space. Even though Mitchell does not like to be picked up, he loves to be pet and loved on. He will roll over for a tummy rub and he will stay in a room with someone (anyone) at all times throughout the day. |
This is a picture of my kitten, Sophie.
I took this picture on the day that we rescued Sophie from the dump where we found her. She was one of 13 kittens, all of which were very cute and very sick. The family that she was living with had many cats and did their best to take care of them all, but failed at taking great care of all of them. Sophie was free, but we had to take her to the vet and get her cleaned up because she had fleas, ear mites, and worms in her stomach. She is very much alive and healthy now and keeps the other two cats on their toes. |

This is my baby Emma.
We rescued Emma from the animal shelter when she was only a few months old. She was, like all the other cats, picked out by my mother. My brother hates Emma, and Emma hates my brother. It is an understanding they have between themselves.
Emma's cute quirk is that she always ALWAYS must be in her 'box'. She loves ugly boring boxes taht we bring home from the store and open to find the treasures inside. When we go to get rid of the box, two little kitty eyes gleam up at us and thus Emma tells us she has found another box.

This is Emma playing with Sophie.
This is one of the very first times Sophie dared to approach emma. I got a pretty good shot of Emma playing with Sophie but really only scaring the crap out of her. Sophie is much bigger now, as is Emma who is getting older and fatter as time goes along. |
This is Mitchell on a table.
Mitchell is very photogenic; If he were more friendly with strangers he would be a beautiful model kitty.

Mitchell is so much bigger than Sophie-- even now! But even though she is still constantly picking on him, Mitchell still treats sophie as gently as he did when she was a teensy kitten. |
